I made this as a birthday present for my friend Heather. She 'loves' Johnny Depp so I drew her a picture of Jack Sparrow.

This is another experiment with a technique that I fell in love with. This is the second attempt at this with new, higher quality markers & some watercolors used for the sky area. The skin's still a bit yellow. While completing my next project I discovered it was the colored pencil I was using for the skin tone that was the culprit. It has since been replace with a better quality pencil set. =)

Over time I've unfortunately discovered that the inks & watercolor pencils I was using were fugitive and another picture I did using this method, that was left out in the light slowly faded over time. I'll revisit this technique when/if I find better quality materials
